Sarah Belk King Productions
Sarah Belk King — who goes by Sally — is a freelance writer, editor, stylist, producer, recipe developer and location scout. She was Contributing Editor for Bon Appétit for ten years and served as Senior Editor for Bon Appétit for five years. Prior to Bon Appétit, she was a Senior Editor for House Beautiful and Associate Food Editor for House & Garden. She is Western Style Editor for Big Sky Journal and she served as a regular columnist for winereviewonline.com. She also writes and produces food, wine, lifestyle, design and travel pieces for Metropolitan Home, Everyday with Rachel Ray, Los Angeles Times, Forbestraveler.com, Epicurious.com, Country Home, Natural Home, and other magazines. In addition, Sally served as editor for three publications for Albertson's supermarket.

Sally also works as Style Director for Bon Appétit creative services department. In that position - one that she has held for 9 years - she oversees the décor of Bon Appétit's Wine & Spirits Focus events. She has also worked as project manager and Style Director for Bon Appétit events in Beaver Creek, Colorado, at Grand Central Station in New York, as well as for the Design Idea Center at the National Kitchen & Bath shows in 1999, 2003, and 2004.

She holds a Master's degree in art history, a BFA in Art Education, and a diploma from L'´Ecole de Cuisine la Varenne cooking school in Paris. Additionally, she authored Around the Southern Table, a book nominated for "Best Book of the Year" by the James Beard Foundation and The Hungry Traveler: France, a concise guide to dining in France. Sally co-authored The Foster's Market Cookbook with Sara Foster, published by Random House in April 2002. Most recently, she co-authored Eleanora's Kitchen with Eleanora Scarpetta, which focuses on southern Italian home cooking. The book was published by Broadway Books in April, 2004.

Sally is a member of The American Society of Journalists and Authors and The International Association of Culinary Professionals. She is a volunteer skating instructor for handicapped children.
